So, I posted a link to Ordain Women on my Facebook timeline, and it of course led to a wild discussion among my friends. I decided beforehand not to engage in the debate myself, but I eventually felt it proper to leave a comment explaining that I was “liking” only comments that tended toward open discussion, and not those which seemed to contain ad hominem attacks.
But some people in my ward used ad hominem attacks against each other, and one of them became upset. On Monday morning, the first counselor of my ward had posted on the thread, and today I was asked to meet with my bishop tomorrow night (as was at least one of the two people involved in the personal attacks). We’ll see how it goes!
It should be good. Posting this link, of course, does not in any way represent apostate behavior, so I don’t expect to have a long discussion. My bishop knows exactly where my testimony is.
I am no longer certain the place you’re getting your information, but great topic. I must spend some time learning much more or figuring out more. Thanks for wonderful info I used to be searching for this information for my mission.
